The Events Honor Richard Schmid and Nature. The Fundraiser will assist The Rocky Mountain Conservancy with their ongoing effort to acquire available lands within the boundaries of Rocky Mountain National Park.

OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday Evening, September 24th  6-9 pm. at Gallery 1261.  1261 Delaware Street, Denver, CO. Free and Open to the public: The gallery will be closed on Saturday 9/24 until the opening begins at 6:00 pm.

Afternoon Luncheon Fundraiser will honor NATURE & CELEBRATE RICHARD SCHMID'S FINE ART CAREER: Saturday: Sept. 24th from 12 to 4:30 pm. Venue: Colorado History Center, 1200 Broadway, Denver, CO 80203. Tickets price $72 each. 

Tickets are $72 and are all sold out! The Colorado Room in the Colorado History Center is on the first floor. For those who have tickets, please arrive early and sign in at the registration desk. We will provide name tags for you to fill out and wear during the program. Some tables are reserved for special guests and collectors, otherwise you can sit at any table not marked reserved.

In addition, 100% of sales from Richard Schmid's print titled: "Aspen Forest- Rocky Mountain National Park,"will be donated to the Rocky Mountain Conservancy. Richard Schmid has autograph each print.

Price: $85 plus CO sales tax. The prints will be for sale at the public opening at Gallery 1261.
Ticket includes: A delicious Luncheon, A Panel Discussion by leading American artists, Quang Ho, Scott Burdick, Kathy Anderson, Daniel J. Keys and Judy Stach; Topic: How Richard Schmid Influenced my own art and the importance of painting Nature directly from life.

We also will view a short presentation by Charles Money, Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Conservancy;  Plus a New Digital presentation of Richard Schmid’s paintings of Colorado by Kristen Thies & Nancy Guzik; an awards ceremony celebrating Richard’s contributions to non-profits in the State of Colorado, as well as a few surprises yet to be announced!
